Facebook Ads proxies built around roles, not just accounts
Updated:
Facebook Ads proxies protect an advertising setup by giving each role its own address: the profile that holds the Business Manager, the profile that adds payment methods, and the profiles that launch campaigns. When all three share one network footprint, a policy flag or a payment problem on one ad account can restrict the whole Business Manager. Separate static IPs keep that damage contained.

Three events where Meta checks the IP closely
Meta's ad risk engine weighs login IP consistency most heavily when a payment method is attached, when a Business Manager admin invitation is accepted, and when a new campaign is published. Those are the moments to have each profile on its own established address.
The reason for splitting roles is containment. If the profile that owns the parent BM and the media buyer launching ads come from the same IP, a flag on one ad account can reach the BM. On separate addresses with separate history, it is much less likely to spread.
A role map you can copy
| Role | Product | Location | What it protects |
|---|---|---|---|
| BM holder (vault profile, rarely used) | Static ISP | United States or Vietnam | Owns the assets on the most trusted address and makes no daily edits |
| Billing profile that attaches cards | Static ISP | Same country as the card: US or VN | Fewer payment holds and card declines |
| Media buyer launching campaigns | Private IPv4 or static ISP | Vietnam or Singapore | Each buyer on an isolated IP for everyday Ads Manager work |
| Identity appeal and verification | Static ISP | United States or Vietnam | An address that does not move while a manual review is open |
Teams sharing one profile
Agencies often have several people working the same ad account. The safe way is a cloud-synced profile in Dolphin{anty} or AdsPower with the static proxy saved inside it. Whoever opens the profile, from whichever computer, exits through the same IP with the same fingerprint, so Facebook sees one consistent user.
The unsafe way is each team member logging in to the same ad account from their own direct connection at the same time. That produces exactly the multi-location pattern the risk engine looks for.
Checklist before adding a card
- The profile has been on its static IP for at least 24 hours
- The proxy country matches the card's issuing country and the ad account timezone
- Browser language and timezone in the profile match the proxy country
- The IP is not a public VPN exit; ProxyV4 proxies are rented to one customer per IP
- Vault and billing proxies are renewed ahead of expiry, which keeps their IPs unchanged
Step by step
- 1
Buy one static IP per role
US static ISP or Vietnam static ISP for vault and billing; Singapore private IPv4 is an option for buyers.
- 2
Save each proxy inside a team profile
Enter
ip:port:user:passin Dolphin{anty}, AdsPower or Multilogin, so everyone exits through the same IP. - 3
Check before opening Ads Manager
Confirm the exit country in the proxy checker.
- 4
Warm first, then bill and launch
Attach cards and share ad account access only after the profile has a stable session on its IP.
Frequently asked questions
Why was my ad account restricted right after I added a card?
Payment reviews often fire when the login IP is in a flagged datacenter range or in a different country from the card. A static ISP proxy in the card's country, plus a warm-up period, reduces these false locks.
Can two media buyers use the same Facebook profile from different computers?
Yes, if both open it in a cloud-synced antidetect profile that has the same static proxy saved. Facebook then sees one fingerprint and one IP.
Static ISP or rotating proxies for Ads Manager?
Static. Ads Manager expects a steady home or office connection; an IP change while you edit budgets or ads is a strong anomaly signal.
Separate your BM, billing and buyer profiles by IP
Static ISP in the US and Vietnam, private IPv4 in Singapore and five more countries, from one balance.
