TikTok proxies: give each channel a clean address in its audience's country
Updated:
TikTok proxies matter because the For You Page decides who sees a video partly from the network it was uploaded on: the exit country, the ASN behind it and the device locale. Post from a shared VPN or a datacenter range that other accounts have abused and new channels often stall at zero views. A static ISP or private IPv4 proxy from ProxyV4 is used by one customer only, so the address carries your channel's history and nobody else's.

Stuck at zero views: the usual network causes
TikTok checks the IP's ASN and its abuse history at login and at every upload. The fix for the first three is the same: one fixed address in the target country, used for nothing else. The fourth is about patience, covered further down.
- The phone still has a local SIM, so the carrier country contradicts the proxy country
- The upload came from a public VPN or a recycled proxy pool shared with hundreds of automated accounts
- The account switched between a home IP and a foreign proxy, sometimes within a day
- The first video went up minutes after sign-up, before the account had any normal viewing behaviour
Matching the proxy to the audience you are building
| Audience | Proxy | Why |
|---|---|---|
| US: Creator Rewards and affiliate channels | US static ISP | A consumer-ISP ASN is the strongest network signal for US distribution |
| Vietnam: content and livestream channels | Vietnam static ISP or Vietnam IPv4 | A domestic Vietnamese identity close to the audience |
| UK English-language channels | UK IPv4 | A fixed London-region address for consistent UK signals |
| Japan and South Korea niches | Japan IPv4, South Korea IPv4 | Local addresses for East Asian feeds |
Phone setup versus antidetect browser setup
On a phone, take the physical SIM out, turn off location services, and set the system region and timezone to the proxy's country before adding the proxy in the Wi-Fi settings on iPhone or Android. Every one of those settings is something TikTok can read.
On desktop, each channel gets its own profile in AdsPower or GenLogin. Set the profile's timezone, WebRTC behaviour and Accept-Language to match the proxy, then confirm with the WebRTC leak test that your real IP is not showing through. Uploads through TikTok Studio do not eat into any quota: private IPv4 and static ISP bandwidth is unlimited.
Warm the account before the first upload
Spend 48 to 72 hours watching and interacting with videos in your niche, from the same address you will post from. The account then has normal regional behaviour before it asks TikTok to distribute anything. Keep that address for the life of the channel by renewing before it expires; the IP stays the same.
Step by step
- 1
Pick a static IP in the audience's country
US or Vietnam static ISP for your main markets, or private IPv4 in the UK, Japan or South Korea from the locations list.
- 2
Set it on the phone or in the profile
Enter the HTTP proxy details in the device's Wi-Fi settings or in the channel's antidetect profile.
- 3
Confirm country and language
Open My IP on that device or profile and check the exit country and browser language.
- 4
Browse for two to three days, then post
Use the target region's feed normally before publishing original videos.
Frequently asked questions
Why do my new TikTok videos get 0 views?
Most often a local SIM is exposing your real country, the IP is a shared VPN or datacenter address already flagged for spam, or you posted straight after registering without warming the account.
Is US static ISP worth the extra cost over IPv4 for TikTok?
For US accounts chasing organic For You Page reach, yes. A consumer-ISP ASN passes network trust checks more reliably than a hosting range. For other markets, private IPv4 is usually enough.
Can one proxy run both my TikTok channel and its TikTok Shop?
Yes, if the channel and the Seller Center belong to the same store in the same region. The TikTok Shop proxy page covers the seller side.
