Instagram proxies for agencies, creators and theme-page networks
Updated:
Instagram proxies give each account its own IP, and with it its own share of Instagram's per-IP limits on follows, Reels uploads, story views and direct messages. When an agency or creator runs several accounts on one connection, one account hitting a limit slows every account behind that IP. Split them, and each account is judged on its own behaviour.

Why 'Try Again Later' hits accounts that did nothing wrong
Instagram scores a session with device identifiers plus network signals, mainly the IPv4 address and its ASN. Shared proxies and datacenter ranges used by automation bots build up a bad reputation, and the result is a 'Try Again Later' block even for a person tapping by hand.
That is why the type of IP matters as much as having one. A static ISP proxy is registered to a consumer ISP and stays the same for weeks of posting; ProxyV4 rents it to one customer, so nobody else's bot traffic is attached to it.
Picking a proxy by account type
| Account | Proxy | Location | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| US creators and e-commerce brand pages | Static ISP | United States | US consumer-ISP address with a steady session |
| Client accounts managed by an agency | Static ISP | United States or Vietnam | Avoids SMS challenges to clients when you log in from elsewhere |
| Theme pages and Reels networks | Private IPv4 | Vietnam or United Kingdom | Isolation per account at a lower price, no bandwidth metering for uploads |
| Brand accounts for Japan or Korea | Private IPv4 | Japan or South Korea | An IP in the audience's own country |
Posting from a phone
Many creators post from iOS rather than a desktop browser. iPhone supports authenticated HTTP proxies in the Wi-Fi settings, so the same ip:port:user:pass line works there; the iPhone setup guide shows where each field goes. Remember the proxy applies to that Wi-Fi network only. Switch to mobile data and the phone posts from your carrier's IP instead.
How accounts end up in verification loops
- The same account is open on your local mobile carrier while an antidetect session in another country is also logged in
- A new IP is followed on day one by heavy follow and unfollow bursts
- More than 2β3 active accounts are stacked on one IPv4
- Free public proxies drop mid-upload; if you want to test one first, use the free proxy list for experiments only, never for accounts
Step by step
- 1
Pick a static proxy in the account's home region
US static ISP or Vietnam static ISP for valuable accounts.
- 2
Add it to a profile or a phone
- 3
Confirm country and timezone
Open My IP inside the profile before signing in.
- 4
Ease into activity
Spend the first 24 hours viewing stories and answering existing DMs, then build up Reels uploads.
Frequently asked questions
Why did Instagram ask for an SMS code after I moved the account to a proxy?
A one-time challenge is normal when an account appears from a new location. Once verified on a static IP that does not change, later sessions continue without repeated challenges.
How many Instagram accounts per proxy?
One per IP for client and brand accounts. Lower-risk niche pages run by hand can go up to 2β3 per IP.
Will long Reels uploads use up a data allowance?
No. Private IPv4 and static ISP proxies have unlimited bandwidth.
Give each Instagram account its own IP
Static ISP and private IPv4, issued automatically after payment, same IPs when you renew.
