Keeping client accounts apart in a social media agency

Updated:

Social media agency proxies give every client a private, fixed login address, so an agency posting for thirty brands from one office stops looking like one operator holding thirty accounts. Pair each address with a browser profile per client and the accounts behave like they belong to separate businesses, because they do.

A separate address for every client

Why agencies trip security checks

Instagram, X, YouTube, Zalo and Telegram assume one person, one account and one usual location. An agency breaks that pattern by design: a few staff publish, reply and pull analytics for many brands over the same network.

Clients also sign in themselves. When their account suddenly shows a different address every day, the platform sends security codes to the client's email or phone and work stalls until someone forwards them. A single fixed address per client gives the platform one predictable location to remember.

Organize by client, not by platform

A client's Instagram, X and YouTube accounts legitimately belong together, so they can share that client's address. Two different clients should never share one. If a client runs accounts that must stay unrelated to each other, give each its own address.

  • One address and one antidetect profile per client, set up in Hidemyacc, GoLogin or AdsPower with the proxy as HTTP
  • Staff get access to the profile, not the raw password, so every session comes through the client's address
  • Phone-only apps run on a dedicated device per client, configured with the Android or iPhone guide
  • Desktop Zalo or Telegram, which may lack proxy fields, can be routed with Proxifier

Onboarding and offboarding

Onboarding: order an address in the client's main audience country, build the profile, check the address with the proxy checker, then sign in. Add the client, accounts, proxy line and expiry date to your client sheet.

Offboarding: hand the accounts back, remove the profile from your team's access and let that address expire. Do not move a new client onto an address another client's accounts have used. At renewal time you can renew just the active clients' addresses and keep their exact IPs, which keeps long-running accounts on the location they know.

What not to do

  • Signing into every client from the office Wi-Fi "just this once"
  • Putting two unrelated clients on one address
  • Choosing a country far from the brand's audience
  • Using addresses for fake engagement or spam, which breaks platform rules and our terms of service
  • Missing a renewal and moving established accounts to a fresh IP

Frequently asked questions

Can one client's Instagram and YouTube share an address?

Yes. Accounts that genuinely belong to the same brand can sit on that client's address. Keep different clients on different addresses.

Will a fixed IP stop Instagram verification prompts?

It makes them less frequent, because the login location stays the same. Platforms may still ask for verification for other reasons, such as a new device.

Do the proxies work with Zalo and Telegram?

Yes, in any app or browser that supports an HTTP proxy with username and password. Desktop apps without proxy settings can go through Proxifier.

Datacenter or static ISP for client accounts?

Private IPv4 covers most client work in seven countries. Static ISP addresses in the US or Vietnam are the choice for high-value accounts on strict platforms.

Can my agency resell proxies to clients?

Yes. Agencies that want to resell can apply to the partner programme.
