Operating TikTok shops and channels across several markets

Updated:

A TikTok Shop proxy needs to be a fixed address in the same country the shop is registered for, used by that shop alone. TikTok ties shops, feeds and audiences to a market, so a seller in one country running a store in another, or an agency running channels for several brands, has a location mismatch to fix before anything else. This page is the operating checklist for that.

An address in each shop's market

The location mismatch, explained

TikTok uses your connection's country, along with phone number, documents and payment details, to decide which market an account belongs to. A shop registered for the UK that always appears from Vietnam is inconsistent, and seller accounts get more scrutiny than viewer accounts because they hold payouts and business documents.

A second problem appears with scale. Five shops or channels on one connection are linked by that connection, and a violation on one can attract attention to the rest. A private address per shop removes that shared link. It does not alter anything TikTok knows from the documents and phone number, so those still have to belong to the market.

Desktop or phone: pick one per shop

On desktop, each shop or channel lives in its own antidetect profile in GenLogin, Hidemyacc or GoLogin, with the ip:port:user:pass line from Orders entered as an HTTP proxy. The profile's time zone and language follow the shop's market.

On phones, a single handset switching between many accounts is a strong link on its own, whatever the address. Use one device per shop where you can and set its Wi-Fi proxy with the Android or iPhone guide. Seller center sessions and video uploads are not metered, since bandwidth is unlimited.

Launch day for a new shop

  • Order one address in the shop's country.
  • Load it into the shop's profile or device.
  • Open my IP and the WebRTC leak test from that profile and confirm both show the shop's country.
  • Only then open TikTok and sign in to seller center.
  • Write the shop, address and expiry date down; renew before expiry to keep the same IP.

Errors seen in multi-market setups

  • A US address on a shop registered for Vietnam, or the reverse
  • One shop signed in from several addresses or several phones
  • Browser time zone still on the operator's home country
  • All channels parked on one address because they are "all mine"
  • Expecting an address change to restore reach lost to guideline violations

Frequently asked questions

Which country should a TikTok Shop proxy be in?

The shop's registered market. A US shop uses a US address, a Vietnamese shop a Vietnamese one, and the shop keeps that address.

Does a different IP increase TikTok views?

No. The address changes where you connect from, not how TikTok ranks videos. Reach comes from content and audience.

Static ISP or private IPv4 for TikTok Shop?

For seller accounts in the US or Vietnam, static ISP looks more like home internet. Private IPv4 works for most channels and covers more countries.

Can I set the proxy on my phone?

Yes. Enter the HTTP proxy with username and password in the phone's Wi-Fi settings or a proxy app.

Can I renew only the shops that are still active?

Yes. Select the proxies you want to keep in the dashboard and renew those; they keep their IPs while the rest expire.
